Admissions of Returning Singaporeans to Year 3 at RI in 2012

Please Read This Before You Proceed:
Application is open from 12 noon on 15 July 2011 to 12 noon on 26 August 2011.

After submitting your online application form, print and submit the application form with copies of your supporting documents to the Raffles Institution (RI) Administration Office during office hours (Monday – Friday between 8:30am – 5.00pm) in person or via mail. The RI Administration Front Office will be closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

Step 1 : Submit the Online Application Form

Complete the application form available here and submit it online.

After submitting the online form, you will receive an acknowledgement. Please print a copy of the completed form and cover page by following the instructions on the website.

Step 2 : Submit Application Form With Supporting Documents

Complete the application process by submitting a printout of the application form, cover page, supporting documents and application fee (S$120.00).  Payment can be made in cash or cheque (crossed and made payable to “Raffles Institution”).

Supporting documents to be submitted must include certified true copies of the following documents:-

  1. Photocopy of Primary 6 PSLE detailed results with scores, if applicable.
  2. Photocopy of results obtained in overseas schools (including translation if not in English) for the past 2 years or part thereof.
  3. Records of CCA achievements, additional qualifications (highest level required only), awards, scholarships etc.

Important Notes
Online submission without the hardcopy application form, cover page, supporting documents and application fee to RI Administration Office does not constitute a complete application.  We will only process applications that are complete. Please note that your full sets of application must reach us before our closing date.

Do not submit original certificates as all documents/portfolios etc submitted in connection with an application are non-returnable. Please provide valid and working e-mail addresses and at least two mobile phone numbers for contact purposes.

Check e-mail accounts on a regular basis as this will be the means of our correspondence with all applicants.

Step 3 : Entrance Exams

All applicants are required to sit for the General Ability Test (GAT), English, Mathematics and Science papers. Syllabus will be given after applicants have made the submission of supporting documents.

Step 4 : Receive Notification Of Results

All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in writing by December 2011.
Please note that :-

  • Detailed results of the GAT and entrance examination, will not be released;
  • The school reserves the right not to release the results or the reasons for non-selection; and
  • We regret that we are unable to provide information on application outcome or status over the telephone.
