The application period for International Students applying for admission to Year 1 or Year 3 in 2012 is from 13 July 2011 (12 noon) to 26 August 2011 (12 noon).
Please Read This Before You Proceed:
After submitting your online application form, print and submit the application form with copies of your supporting documents to the RI Administration Front Office during office hours (Monday – Friday between 8:30a.m – 5.00p.m) in person or via mail. The RI Administration Front Office will be closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
An application will only be processed when an applicant has completed the first 3 steps listed below.

Step 2 : Submit the Online Application Form |
Complete the application form available here and submit it online.
After submitting the online form and receiving an acknowledgement, print a copy of the completed form and cover page by following the instructions on the website.

Step 3 : Submit Application Form With Supporting Documents |
Complete the application process by submitting a printout of the application form, cover page, supporting documents and application fee (S$120.00). Payment can be made by cheque (crossed and made payable to “Raffles Institution”) or in cash (only if submitting in person).
Supporting documents to be submitted must include certified true copies of the following documents:
a) Identification documents of applicant and his parents/legal guardians*
b) Academic transcripts of past 3 years*
c) Relevant supporting certificates and letters of commendation (if any)*
*English translations will be required for all documents and academic transcripts in any other language
d) Either one of the following documents:
- Dependent’s Pass (DP) / Immigration Exemption Order (IEO) / Parent(s)’s NRIC OR
- MOE’s letter about the status of your centralised test and/or Parent(s)’s S Pass / R Pass (work permit)
RI will process your application even while your centralised test result is pending.
Important Notes
Online submission without the hardcopy application form, cover page, supporting documents and application fee to RI Administration Office does not constitute a complete application. We will only process applications that are complete. Please note that your full sets of application must reach us before our closing date.
Do not submit original copies of certificates as all documents/portfolios etc submitted in connection with an application are non-returnable. Please provide valid and working e-mail addresses and at least two mobile phone numbers for contact purposes.
Check e-mail accounts on a regular basis as contact for entrance examinations will be done via e-mail nearer the date. Please adjust the security level of your email accounts in order to receive our mass email notifications.

| Step 4: Sit for RI’s Entrance Examinations |

Applicants are required to sit for RI’s Entrance Examinations conducted for English, Science and Mathematics, at the respective levels, together with a General Ability Test (GAT).
* On top of RI’s Entrance Examinations, Cat 3 and 4 International Students must also sit for the scheduled MOE centralised test and inform RI once the results are released.

Step 5 : Receive Notification Of Results |
All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in writing by December 2011. Please note that :-
- We regret that we are unable to provide information on application outcome or status over the telephone.
- The school reserves the right not to release the results of the examinations or the reason for non-selection.
- The vacancies may not be completely filled if there are insufficient suitable candidates.
