2. I am an international student, how can I apply for admission to the Raffles schools?

1.

I am a returning Singaporean. Can I apply directly for admission into Year 1 at the Raffles schools via DSA?

Returning Singaporeans (Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents) seeking admission into Year 1 at both RGS and RI may approach the respective schools directly for more information.

They are also advised to contact the Ministry of Education, Singapore to participate in the School Placement Exercise for Returning Singaporeans - Secondary (SPERS-Sec). Returning Singaporeans who wish to participate in SPERS-Sec will be required to sit for SPERS-Sec papers comprising Maths and English. Based on their performance in the SPERS-Sec papers, candidates would each be provided with a list of eligible secondary schools where students of similar abilities are already studying in. Candidates can opt for any six schools in their lists, and MOE would then post them to secondary schools based on their performance in the SPERS-Sec papers, their school choices, and the availability of vacancies in the schools.

2.

I am an international student, how can I apply for admission to the Raffles schools?

International students who are currently not studying in Singapore should check the RI/RGS websites around July/August for more information on the application process.

Applicants will be required to make arrangements to come to Singapore to sit for English, Science, Mathematics and General Ability tests.
