How many classes will there be for students from the primary GEP?

There is no fixed number of classes for GEP and non-GEP students. The posting procedure by MOE is applicable to all students who are in the same queue for posting, based on the merit of their PSLE score.

Will GEP be continued in the Raffles Programme?

MOE has confirmed that students from the primary GE programme will have their status extended to the secondary level in the Raffles Programme. However, from 2004, all IP schools that are GEP centres are no longer under the management of MOE's GE Branch but will continue to work in close partnership with them. As primary GEP students have a head-start on the use of strategies to cater to their learning needs, the Raffles Programme will continue to differentiate to meet the needs of these exceptionally gifted students through intact classes and other means.
