Step 1: Application Form and Submission of Relevant Documents |
For all applicants
- Application is open from 1 Jul 2011 (Friday) to 26 August 2011 (Friday). Please note that we do not accept applications for admission into Year 4.
- Complete an online application form. We regret that hard copy application forms will not be available.
- Upon submission of the online application form, please print a copy of the completed form and submit with the following:

A personal statement:
On a separate sheet of paper, respond to one of the following:

The Raffles Programme is committed to the development of the person, the thinker, the leader and the pioneer. Describe a situation from your experience that required you to uphold a value or principle dear to you. Tell us what difficulties you encountered (if any) and how you dealt with them.

Write about something that you have accomplished (other than grades) in school or in the community, which you are proud of. Describe how you went about achieving it and why you think it was significant.
This personal statement should be hand written in no more than 500 words. After you have completed it, please sign your name as an attestation that it is your own authentic and original work.

Non-refundable application fee of $120. Please do not send cash by post. Cheque payments must be made payable to: Raffles Girls’ School (Secondary). Cheque payments are strongly encouraged to facilitate the application process. We do not accept bankdrafts.

A copy of PSLE result slip (if applicable), and current school results (only applicable for applicants studying in Secondary 1 or 2 at a local secondary school) |
Note: Please submit the above documents within five working days. For online applications made from 22 Aug, the documents should be submitted by the closing date of 26 Aug 2011 (12 noon) .
Your application is effective only after you have submitted all the documents listed above.

Step 2: General Ability Test and Placement Tests |
Applicants must sit for a General Ability Test and placement tests for English Language, Mathematics and Science. The test dates are on 5 & 6 September.

Step 3: Interview |
Applicants who have done well in the tests will be invited to attend an interview.
|
Step 4: Notification of result |
Successful applicants will be notified by 10 Oct 2011.
